Starting off with grace
For the next few months, I am going to take on specific topics in a series. This first one we will take on grace. There will be both long and short posts. I am going to look at it through the lens of leadership, fatherhood, the Bible and others.
Here is the thought
We often think of giving grace, but do we ever think of receiving? Do we ask for it from God? If we do what is that like? Do you ever fill more filled with grace?
I don’t know about you, but until recently I haven’t really ever asked for grace. I ask for forgiveness all the time, but that is not the same. I don’t really understand the reception of grace, and that’s why I want to spend a month with you exploring it. I don’t have the whole month mapped out, so this is going to be fun. Maybe a comment will take us in a new and unexpected direction. Maybe an email will set up a deeper dive. But, here’s the deal I want to know what I can ask for from God. I know grace is a part of that package.
So, stick around, comment, like, and share. This is a community. As a faithful father, I need grace, and I know I have it, but I don’t know the full extent of grace’s power from God.
